At my company, Archetape, we are huge believers in the "flywheel" effect. We are rebuilding the traditional residential real estate brokerage model from the ground up to thrive in today’s world. We know that this is a bold and daring task to take on, and we recognize that there are multiple inputs that lead to our desired outputs. We are excited by the challenges ahead, but we never forget that great things take time to build. We constantly lean on our flywheel framework to give us clarity and a guiding light to keep us focused on our goal to be “the best agent-obsessed real estate brokerage in the world.”

eXp Realty announced at the close of the market Tuesday that its board of directors approved a 2-for-1 stock split, essentially doubling the number of company shares while splitting its value in half. Their stock has been on a tear this year going from about $10 per share in January to almost $100 per share as of this week. The company, in 2018, overhauled its agent stock program offering agents a set dollar amount worth of shares instead of a certain number of shares when they hit certain milestones. Read more HERE.

The booming Texas city heads a lineup of sunny and relatively affordable metro areas - Phoenix, Nashville, Tampa, and Denver - that are most likely to outperform the nation in home value growth, according to a panel of economists and real estate experts recently surveyed by Zillow. Fifth Wall Ventures who focuses on #proptech investments has filed paperwork to launch their own SPAC targeting a $250 million fundraise. Headed by Blackstone Group alumni Brendan Wallace and Brad Greiwe, Fifth Wall is already one of the best-funded proptech VCs, with $1.3 billion in committed capital. Read more HERE.
